My Ruby is in CRF and needs a potassium supplement. She gets a wonderful paste one but let’s face it, Ruby is hard to medicate.

So when I travel (sorry Ruby), the person taking care of her just puts this on her food and yummy, yummy, yummy.

Would use it all the time but have other kitties who don’t need it and Ruby does not like to eat alone.

When my vet told me my cat needed a potassium supplement, he also sold me a very expensive brand of it. When that was gone, I searched online for a less expensive substitute and found this. As far as I can tell, it has the same ingredients at about 1/4 the cost. I mix it in my cat's morning wet food and he seems none the wiser.

This works really well for my older cat. He was nearly dead when I took him to the vet thinking that he had to be put down. Blood tests revealed a potassium deficiency. The vet sold me expensive gel. This product is much more economical, works well and is less messy. You also don't waste any like you would with the last bit of gel that won't come out of the tube. Just sprinkle it on the food. My cat eats it just fine.
