Stains badly
May 1, 2018
I tried this on my 17 year old maltese. It did hydrate her eyes but I did not note any change in the cloudiness. The eye specialist had seen her and said it was just cloudiness that comes with age. What I did notice was severe staining. She has never had much staining at all but with these drops used as instructed, her whole face turned amber brown. I should have known when I saw that the drops were orange but, oh my. Sweet little old lady has lost almost everything including her eyesight and most of her hearing. Her pretty hair is about all she has left. And now I’ve had to cut her face short. Thankfully the new hair is growing in white since the drops were discontinued. I contacted OcluVet and told them and also told them that I wish they had stated that they stain before I spent so much money on drops and shipping.
Good hydration of eyes
Bad staining on white hair. Bottle difficult to access without contaminating - and I?m an RN. Image is before the drops and the staining. She is on the far left. Hoping she lives long enough to grow her sweet face out again.
Merchant Response:Hi Rhonda, Sorry to hear about the side effects of our loved ones getting older. I wish there were more we could do. Thank you for your review and I wish you and your maltese the best.

Ocluvet Eye Drops work
November 26, 2016
Our 12-year old Aussie/Border Collie mix was starting to get cataracts, according to his vet.. His eyes were getting cloudy. Two bottles of Ocluvet later (one drop 2 x day) and his eyes are much clearer. He's perked up quite a bit also and is much more playful and energetic. We are continuing him on one drop a day in the am, as per instructions.
Works.
The bottles are not the best quality -- some bottles were hard to get even one drop out of; others several drops come out at once.

Hello. I started using Ocluvet on our 12 year old Maltese; she has been evaluated by a canine opthalmologist which concerned the necrosis and cataracts. We have used the drops twice a day for one week, she has not had any local reaction but she is not tracking like before starting the drops, has run into things that she has never done and appears more agitated which is not her either. There has been no changes in her life Please advise. Thank you

Hello, please contact your vet and let them know what is going on with you dog. They will be able to tell if the drops are causing this or any other issues.
