Description
Vetoquinol Ear Cleaning Solution is a comprehensive formulation for both dogs and cats that cleans, dries, acidifies and deodorizes ears. It is gentle enough for routine use in the bathing/grooming area, exam room or treatment area.
Formulated with aloe vera to soften skin
Gentle enough for routine use with dogs and cats to aid in the prevention of external ear infections
Denatured alcohol and lactic acid dry and acidify the external ear canal
For very dirty ears, apply 2–3 times daily for a week.
Ear Cleansing Solution provides an environment that helps maintain healthy ears, and aids in the prevention of external ear infections
Ingredients
Active: Sd-Alcohol 40-2, 10%; Lactic Acid, 1.76%; Benzoic Acid, 0.15%; Salicylic Acid, 0.1%.
Inactive: A Fragrant Base Containing Aloe Vera Gel.

Useful Information
Apply Ear Cleansing Solution liberally into the ear canal of the cat or dog. Massage the base of the ear. Allow pet to shake head. Wipe excess away with a cotton ball.
For very dirty ears, apply 2 - 3 times daily for several days. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without consulting a veterinarian.
For routine cleaning and maintenance of healthy ears, use 1–2 times weekly or as recommended by your veterinarian. Always apply after swimming.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS: Consult your veterinarian if pet shakes head or scratches ears frequently. If redness or irritation develop or persists, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Great cleaner

We have a 5 year old GSD, and they are prone to ear problems. Have been using this for more than 4 years. It works great, and have had no ear infections since.
Pleasant smell.

This Product is great but they shipped me something different.

I have used this product for years for my dogs ears and it works! However I ordered the above item and they sent me a white bottle with green labeling. They told me this is the new packaging. The bottle they sent me is missing one ingredient Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate. This may be an ingredient that keeps my dog from having an ear infection or it may be something they have discontinued for some reason. I am still waiting to get an answer from the manufacturer to determine weather I send this product back or keep it.
As I said this is an awesome product that I have been using for years. If used once a week my dogs ears are free of infections.
When I order a product I should not be shipped a substitution unless I approve it.

Our German Shepherd has a tendancy towards yeast infections in her ears- the vet recommended this product to maintain her ears and it works great! Doesn\'t sting and clears up the infections quickly!

I love this stuff! My oldest Lab (now 3) was susceptible to ear infections from swimming when he was a little guy. Was introduced to this product by my vet. I\'ve used it every week or two for over 2-1/2 years and haven\'t seen a hint of an ear infection since. It has a clean, fresh scent, as well. I wouldn\'t be without it.

My dog continues to get ear infections. We\'ve tried other products but the smell of those made me sick. This solution has a pleasant and clean scent. Highly recommend.
