Pro-Pectalin Anti-Diarrheal Gel contains koalin, pectin and Enterococcus faecium, a beneficial bacteria to help resolve diarrhea caused by stress, antibiotic administration, change in diet or other simple, non-life threatening forms of diarrhea. Its unique combination of ingredients helps safely stop diarrhea, soothe irritated intestines and restore the normal balance of intestinal bacteria.
Anti-Diarrheal oral gel for dogs and cats helps resolve and provides relief for diarrhea caused by stress or other influences
Kaolin, which soothes irritated intestines and absorbs water and excess bacterial toxins
Microencapsulation helps protect the bacteria against low pH stomach acids
Enterococcus faecium, which is part of the normal intestinal flora
Pectin, which absorbs water and helps firm stool

works on related GI track,not to "stop" but to regulate

this is more a alternarive to use for ONGOING Gi BOWEL issues...if you wanna
stop the runs..it is not designed for that better to consider this is more
to help HEAL the problem...and its very specific and for IBD its perfect
if the dog is on no food or food again you can also use it
to help for a few days.. to heal the bowel up and i have
to say I am SOOOO grateful..not to visit vet to get this product.
I love this stuff ( or i mean my DOG does..it repairs his over-active cells,
immunity,and gives probiotic to build up over 24-48 hrs enough time to
have his body back to solid stools. is also TASTY for those with vomiting issues
its easy on the stomach..( whew)
because it is squishy,it also means waste i needed to buy more
and he is small..i would stock up...cause 15 cc is too little for
even 12 pound dog with 4 treatments its given twice day
i oreder 30 cc which is WAY more product. i keep it in the fridge
once opened.

One of my cats has chronic diarrhea...this natural paste works wonders and usually clears him up in 2-3 days.
My dog just ate it right off my finger.

Our vet put our poodle on this because she seemed to always seems to have loose bowels, it works. Will try to keep it on hand.
She loves it as a treat! Licks it off the finger no problem !

This stuff is a life save! After using it just twice after my dog ate something she shouldn\'t have, the diarrhea was gone. I now keep this on hand at all times in case she ever gets into anything again. Diarrhea is not fun.

You have to be consistent but this really helps a cat of mine with chronic diarrhea. Adding Science Diet WD also helps.
