If you'd like to boost your dog's diet with freeze-dried raw nutrition but don't want to replace their current food, you can use Active Vitality as a mixer. To add, simply reduce the amount of your dog's food and replace with the desired amount of Active Vitality to avoid overfeeding.

Great product, not so great price

I agree with several other dog lovers here in saying that this is a great product and my dog loves it however many of us struggle with the cost. It would be great if there a way to get the cost down to managable level for the masses.
My six month old puppy loves it as a topper (I add a little to his store brand puppy chow) to help keep the cost down and because this food is designed for adult dogs. He eats the Nature's Blend first usually.
The cost, and the fact that there really isn't enough crunch in the product to assist with keeping the dogs teeth sharp over the long term, like crunchy kibble dog food.

Very good product

My 5 pound Brussels Griffon is 11 years old and we have been feeding her Nature’s Blend for about 5 years. She doesn’t show any sign of aging except for long naps. She will walk with me 4 miles 3 days a week.. she chases hummingbirds in the yard saying her eyesight is still great.. The only problems I have with this product is she is always itching ever since we introduced her to this product and the price

The perfect dog food with one exception

My dog is a 33 pound, 3-year old Siberian Husky and she loves Dr. Marty's. I feed her 2 cups in the morning and 2 cups in the afternoon. She absolutely loves the food. She had no health issues before, but I can see an improvement in her coat and general wellness since I began feeding her this food a month or so ago.
The exception is that this food is VERY overpriced. The small bags do not last long, so at $164 per shipment of 6 bags, I am getting about 2 weeks of feeding...for a rather small dog, I urge the Dr. Marty organization to reevaluate their sales plan and make this great food more affordable (by about 30%). The problem here is not inflation, the problem is that the food is simply far over priced. Might not be a problem for Oprah, but for the rest of us...

I love this for my dog but very expensive !!! My dog would go through in a week even when i mix it with his regular food i have ordered 6 bags and my dog lives it so much he begs for it but i cant financially do this.

My dog (Molly) is a very PICKY EATER. She doesn't eat much n is never in a hurry to go to her bowl to eat. I was very skeptic in buying this dog food but w a 100% return n refund policy, i thot.. I had nothing to lose. My molly devours this food n totally loves it. She's 14years old n she's been blind for 4+ years or so but she continues to wag her tail n give us lovings... I use this food as a topper bc I can't afford to feed it by itself. She now comes to me begging me to feed her. I really didn't think she'd like it but she not only likes it.. she LOVES it. I thought I bought some bags of treats for her too but they haven't arrived. I plan to buy more of this dog food. I just wished it was a miracle food that would make her see again. I'd recommend this to anyone w animals.

I have a 4-year-old Treeing Walker Coon Hound who loves to run on the beach and gets the "zoomies". I met a couple with a little Jack Russell mix who was happily running around at the edge of the water. They told me that their dog was an incredible 22 years old! They told me their vet said she has no health problems, although her hearing and eyesight had declined. They told me they feed her Dr. Marty's dog food, so I tried it for my younger dog. She loves the food, and the results were amazing! Although she was already healthy, she became even more energetic, and her coat became softer and shinier. I could see the results of the improved diet. Thank you, Dr. Marty!

My cavapoo loves this food. She’s fed 3 times a day and does the happy dance from the kitchen to her feeding place. Her coat is shiny and she has lots of energy. I put warm water from the tap in a cup & add the Dr Marty. Sometimes discard the water, I add a little Castor & Pollux dry crunchies to the plate because Dr Marty is soft & I want crunch for teeth. Anyway, I truly recommend this dog food.

I'm in total agreement on Marty's hypothesis on dogs health. only thing missing in this discussion in the world around dogs so called "evolution". Dogs living in the wild was not the original way. ,God Created vegetarians. That world is gone .Now dogs have been eating from mans table for thousands of years they are domesticated and have adapted well to a very broken world. adaptation isn't applied properly to dogs needs. I can actually understand each of these ingredients. My dog loves this food and seems to have more energy after a few days on feeding. It is well worth the price. Why don't they have a cat food I can find.
